Rain Garden Party!

Bristol Parks and Recreation has partnered with the Farmington River Watershed Association and the North Central Conservation District in order to provide a rain garden at Page Park Ski Lodge. Join us May 1st -3rd to help plant this garden as a community!

Funded by a grant, this project will provide the Ski Lodge with much needed gutters, sloping, and irrigation. Native plants, including grasses, shrubs, and perennials will be planted to absorb rain water, helping to prevent polluted run-off.

It is our hope that our Rain Garden can serve as a community project, bringing together all members of the community to help plant and subsequently inspire others to create rain gardens at their own homes.
