Aquatics Guide
                    Aquatics in the All-Heart City

Since 1996 the Dennis Malone Aquatic Center has been the city’s premier indoor aquatic center. Featuring six-lanes of open  swimming space, a one-meter diving board, and year-round programming. The city of Bristol is home to one indoor pool and two outdoor pools. New for 2020 will be Page Pool re-designed!

The Dennis Malone Aquatics Center is a competitive swimming facility that is proudly called their “home pool” by five community swim teams. Additionally, the pool is used for Red Cross learn to swim programs, our own recreational swim team, community lifeguard training courses, water exercise classes,  and members of the community for daily swimming.

The city of Bristol operates two public municipal pools in both Page Park and Rockwell Park. The pools are open seasonally for an 8-week period, daily from 1pm-7pm.  Page pool features a large swimming area for families. Rockwell offers a smaller, shallow-water swimming experience.

Splash pads can be found all throughout the all-heart city. Located at Stocks Playground, Page Park, and Rockwell Park. The splash pads are a great place to cool off during the summer!

The city of Bristol has many aquatic options for you and your family! Since the early 1950’s Bristol has prided itself on the beauty of its parks and recreation offerings. In 2020, we greatly look forward debuting the renovation of Page Park Pool. The facility will include spray features,  a zero-depth entry ramp, and competitive swimming space. The pool will also feature a brand new entrance and more family-friendly changing space.

Bristol Splash Swim Team is a community, recreational swim team that participants in the Yankee Swim league that runs from October through March. The program is perfect for entry-level competitive swimmers that want to get stronger. We are proud to announce that our Splash team will soon be a USA Swim Team.

The progressive curriculum is designed to provide the highest degree of instruction possible.
