The City of Bristol Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to present its new GREEN TEAM program open to all Bristol residents. The Bristol Green Team is an enthusiastic group of volunteers who gather the last Saturday of each month to enjoy a friendly competition picking up liter to beautify the parks. Their mission is simple; to keep our parks beautiful and free from litter. Participants receive a Bristol Green Team T shirt (while supplies last) and those that collect the most trash will receive a variety of fun prizes. It is recommend that you wear comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather and activity. Children are welcomed to participate but must be under the direct supervision of a parent/guardian. We will be providing all of the necessary supplies such as gloves and bags.
