Bristol Eliminating Substance Use Together (BEST)

BEST is a Drug-Free Community Coalition that is committed to developing a culture of awareness and sustained action that will promote positive youth development and a healthier community. Our primary focus is on youth substance use prevention. We are in year 4 of funding from the Drug Free Communities Grant by our federal partners at ONDCP and SAMHSA. The goals of the grant are to increase community/youth collaboration by creating a community coalition and decrease youth substance use rates in Bristol.

BEST Youth Leaders Are you a youth in Middle School or High School? Do you want to join other youth in a great cause? If yes, then become a BEST Youth Leader! Gain volunteer hours towards college or references for your first job. Work with City, State and Federal leaders on reducing youth drug use and underage drinking rates.  Send a message to your friends that you do not have to do drugs or drink alcohol to have fun.
