**1/19/2021 COVID-19 Restrictions continue to be in Place**
As per the Sector Guidelines revised and released on January 19, 2021, the State of Connecticut is only allowing six patrons in the pool at one time. We appreciate your understanding as we implement operational changes to comply with these restrictions, while still providing aquatic access for as many patrons as possible. At this time, we are prioritizing scheduling swim times for members. To register for a membership, please click here.
The following procedures have been implemented for the health and safety of our patrons and staff, procedures updated on January 19th are in red/bold.
Upon check-in at the front desk, plexi-glass barriers will be in place for safety of our staff and for patrons. Temperatures will be checked upon entry. Any patron displaying signs of illness or coughing, may be asked to leave at the discretion of the staff. Additionally, markers will be on the floor to allow physical distancing. Only one person will be allowed to scan their card or check-in at the desk at one time. Members and Bristol residents will take priority until restrictions are lifted. This is necessary to maintain capacity limits. Swim times will continue to be limited to 30 minutes. The time slots DO NOT include time for showering and changing, and we ask that you shower and change as quickly as possible after your swim as there is only 15 minutes. Please plan accordingly as time slots will be enforced. Time between available time slots is used to clean and disinfect all surfaces. Members are limited to one time slot per day on a first-come-first serve basis. If you cannot keep your registered time we ask that you call to unregister to allow for others the opportunity to swim. In-person or over-the-phone registration will only be done on a case by case basis with availability subject to space not already registered for online.
There will be 6 lap lanes available, 1 patrons will be allowed per lane at a time. In the case there is additional space in the pool, the additional space in the pool will be open to a maximum of 6 people , not to exceed 6 patrons in the pool at one time. Patrons must remain physically distanced from one another at least 6 feet at all times. Physical distancing must occur in entrance, lobby, locker rooms, and on pool deck. Face masks must be worn by patrons while entering the facility, while in the locker rooms, while moving about the pool deck and while entering/exiting the pool. Swimmers are not required to wear masks while swimming, showering, or using the restroom facilities. The drinking fountain will remain closed. All patrons entering the pool must shower with warm water and soap prior to entering the pool (per CT state law, this rule will be actively enforced). Lifeguards will be stationed at the locker room exits to the pool to enforce this policy. Please be respectful of our requirements and of our staff.
Patrons entering the facility to observe family members are limited to one family member and asked to remain in the spectator area at a physical distance of at least 6 feet at all times. Face masks must be worn at all times.
All entry requirements and policies are subject to change at any time at the discretion of staff. Any patron who refuses to comply with our policies will be asked to leave
