Parks, Grounds, & Facilities Group Leader
After seventeen (17) years with the City of Bristol and thirteen (13) years with the Bristol Parks Department, Mark Cote punched out for the last time. Mark Cote came to the City of Bristol after serving as a crew leader with Superior Electric for many years. His extensive leadership experience has been an incredible asset to the City of Bristol during his tenure as Group Leader for our Parks Division. Mark is always the first person offering to take on less than pleasant tasks for the division including managing poison ivy, deconstructing dams in the Pequabuck, and cleaning up messes left behind in our parks. Mark takes great pride in his work and he always greets everyone he meets with a smiling face.
More than anything, Mark was always helping out at events including measuring fish at the fishing derby, prepping Muzzy for the Thanksgiving Day games, and helping to stick pencils for the Pencil Hunt, because he loves to see people out enjoying the parks. Mark will be sorely missed by our department and we have big shoes to fill. Please join us in wishing Mark a wonderful retirement full of soccer games with his grandchildren and fishing in Florida!
